When your subject matter makes you hungry... you know it’s time for a new recipe art card! These bright spot prawns are jumping from my sketchbook to a new 5 x 7 recipe art card—art on the front, recipe on the back, and a whole lot of flavor in between. Stay tuned!

For these prawns, I used a combination of watercolor crayons and tube paint to get just the colors I wanted. Mother Nature has the best palettes, and it's a fun challenge to try to match as best I can.
